the Cycleway

"The Cycle and Pedestrian Path, when completed, will link the M5 East cycle way and surrounding council cycle plans, creating a movement corridor that will truly be the heart of a regional recreation opportunity. Community access to the Canal is crucial for its transformation. The creation of the Cycle and Pedestrian Path along the length of the Canal will draw people to
the edge of the Canal, providing opportunities for picnics, quiet reflection or walking and cycling."
(South Sydney Development Corporation, Feb 2003)
