Historic woolsheds can be seen on opposite side of canal

The old woolsheds stretch from the point across the canal from Campbell Street, up almost to Huntley Street.

Status:
In August 2007, DAs were lodged with the City of Sydney for the demolition of most of the historic wool sheds (three must be kept).

In March, 2008, developers lodged Development Applications (DAs) with the City of Sydney to redevelop the wool sheds area. There is a good possibility that this may provide funding for the construction of that section of the cycleway.
